Government Affairs

A central purpose of FAA is to participate in the legislative process in order to promote and protect the interests of its members. FAA works throughout the year alone and in conjunction with allied groups to represent the interests of its members. FAA monitors legislation and regulations and shares that information with our local affiliate staff and leadership.

FAA subscribes to Ordinance Watch Member Builder, a service that provides email advisories about proposed local ordinances and changes to existing ones. Each FAA local association has a minimum of two people who monitor local government agendas on a daily basis.
